MAH-CET

 

MAH CET Application form is now available on the official website till February 15, 2020. MAH CET 2020 will be a state level entrance exam conducted by DTE Maharashtra for admission to MBA programmes offered by participating colleges of Maharashtra. The two-day MAH CET Exam will be conducted in the morning and afternoon slots on March 14-15, 2020.The exam will take place in 47 cities in India.

 

MAH CET Exam Eligibility

       The candidate must have passed a minimum of 3 year Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a university recognized by UGC/AIU.

       For reserved categories and disable persons (belonging to Maharashtra State only) an aggregate of 45% is required. Candidates who belong to a reserved category need to produce a “Caste Validity Certificate” issued by the Scrutiny Committee of Social Welfare Department and candidates belonging to the ST department should submit a “Tribal Validity Certificate” issued by Scrutiny Committee of Tribal department.

       Reserved candidates who do not belong to SC/ST also need to possess a valid Non-Creamy layer certificate.

       Final year students are also eligible to apply.

       The percentage of marks have to be rounded off to two places after the decimal point.

 

MAH CET Paper Pattern

MAH CET Exam Pattern: Logical Reasoning

       Number of Questions – 75 questions of 1 mark each. Each question will have five choices out of which only one choice will be a correct one.

       Nature of Questions – Objective type (MCQs)

       Exam Mode – Online (CBT)

       Exam Medium – The question papers at all exam centers will be in English only.

       Marking Scheme – No negative marking system

MAH CET Exam Pattern: Abstract Reasoning

       Number of Questions – 25 questions of 1 mark each. Each question will have five choices out of which only one choice will be a correct one.

       Nature of Questions – Objective type (MCQs)

       Exam Mode – Online (CBT)

       Exam Medium – The question papers at all exam centers will be in English only.

       Marking Scheme – No negative marking system

MAH CET Exam Pattern: Quantitative Aptitude

       Number of Questions – 50 questions of 1 mark each. Each question will have five choices out of which only one choice will be a correct one.

       Nature of Questions – Objective type (MCQs)

       Exam Mode – Online (CBT)

       Exam Medium – The question papers at all exam centers will be in English only.

       Marking Scheme – No negative marking system

       Number of Questions – 50 questions of 1 mark each. Each question will have five choices out of which only one choice will be a correct one.

It assesses a candidate’s ability to interpret number sequences and questions based on verbal reasoning. It will have questions from the following topics:

Quantitative Aptitude

This section covers the arithmetic problem involving ratio and proportion. It is to assess quantitative reasoning abilities, interpretation of tables, common graphs and charts. It will include 50 questions from following topics:

       Trigonometry

       Quantitative Reasoning

       Geometry

       Percentage

       Algebra

       Probability

       Numbers

 

Data Sufficiency

       Ratio & Proportion

       Data Interpretation – Graphs, Charts, Tables

 

Verbal Ability/ Reading Comprehension

This includes English language grammar and basics, to test comprehensive and accuracy of English language. This section will include 50 questions from following topics:

       Antonyms & Synonyms

       Grammar

       Vocabulary

       Reading Comprehension

       Sentence completion, arrangement

       Para Jumbles

       Fill in the blanks

       Spelling/Inappropriate usage

       Error Correction
